Mr. Sastry Dhara is the Founder, President, and CEO of Dhara Consulting Group, Inc., a successful IT consulting firm. He holds a B.S. in Mining Engineering from Osmania University and an M.S. in Computer Science from Syracuse University. With over 25 years of experience in the technology industry, he has proven himself both as a hands-on technologist and a successful executive and entrepreneur.

Mr. Dhara built Dhara™ from his apartment in 1997, starting with a sole software development project for T. Rowe Price. Since then, he has led various customer engagements in both the private and public sectors, resulting in repeat contract awards. He is currently focused on expanding Dhara’s™ business footprint and actively engaged in high-profile projects.

Throughout his career, Mr. Dhara has managed multi-million-dollar technology ventures, growing his startup into a prominent player in federal and commercial markets. His expertise spans IT strategy, cloud architecture, solution engineering, and system integration for clients like the Department of Defense, DHS, and Fortune 500 companies in healthcare, finance, and consumer goods.

Currently, Mr. Dhara is working with several other DHARA™ team  members on  multiple projects of critical significance within DOD, which touch upon Intelligence and Operations.

Mr. Dhara’s accomplishments have earned him awards and recognitions, including certificates of appreciation from the U.S. Department of State and GS1 US for superior performance. He has also been a featured speaker at numerous conferences on topics like SOA infrastructure and health information exchanges.
