The Scalable Homeland Innovative Enterprise Layered Defense (SHIELD) IDIQ is a multiple‑award contract vehicle with an estimated shared capacity of $151 billion over a 10‑year ordering period. This contract enables the Missile Defense Agency and other Department of Defense
organizations to rapidly deliver innovative, mission‑critical capabilities to the warfighter.
The SHIELD IDIQ is designed to enhance speed, agility, and technical innovation across the defense enterprise.
